We wrote a post introducing Google’s Mobile Playbook back in May, but this week Google have updated the site with some extra content to help businesses with their mobile strategies.

 

Mobile Creativity

The Mobile Creativity section “explains why mobile is unique and powerful from a creative perspective, and shares examples of how marketers from around the world have used mobile to bring their brands to life.” The case studies include Toyota’s innovative use of GPS within their engaging mobile game, and Nike’s use of social community to enable sharing of fitness information via bluetooth wristbands and mobiles.

The Full Value of Mobile

The Full Value of Mobile section discusses the wide range of mobile conversions that are available (web, apps, calls, in-store etc.) and “how they provide economic value to businesses in ways that marketers may not realize.” There are more case studies to delve into, including some from Adidas, ModCloth and T-Mobile.
